Zoo Babies...And Finally...

This is the Zoo Baby that is my absolute favourite - meet Gerry (short for Gerrard!) the Giraffe. Giraffes are very popular in our house (Ollie's favourite cuddly from when he was a baby), and his Giraffe is called Mr G. Not very imaginative you might think, but we are a Liverpool household so it's short for Stevie Gerrard and Giraffe, so it kinda came naturally!

Gerry was stamped in So Saffron, and layered with So Saffron Cardstock.

Here are all the Zoo Babies lined up together! I used Pistachio Pudding for the last colour combo, as not everyone wants to give traditional pink and blue cards for babies these days.

Zoo Babies - Ronnie the Rhino...

Isn't he just handsome! Step forward Ronnie, the second of our Zoo Babies!! Coloured in Soft Sky, this is a great card for a bouncing baby boy!!!

This stamp set really is a pleasure to create with, and it's quite nice to get my scissors out again and do some 'fussy cutting' - haven't done much of this recently.

Beautiful Hardwood Bird House...

This great is really fun to make and looks so effective - unfortunately I can't take any credit for it! You can see the original over at Julies Japes blog. As time goes on, those of you that follow my blog will notice that I link back to Julie quite often - she is my Stampin' Up! upline, and a never ending source of ideas and inspiration. I first spoke to Julie four years ago about joining Stampin' Up! after finding her blog and loving everything she did. It wasn't the right time for me to join then, but when I started to think about it again this year, there was only one person who I would have considered joining with, so sorry Julie, but you're stuck with me!! Anyway, back to the card....

This card uses the really cute Bird Builder punch, and my favourite stamp of the moment, the Hardwood stamp. All these products are available from my online shop!
