Beautiful Purple Wings...

Here is a picture that I was commissioned to make as a leaving present for someone who's favourite colour is purple!! Stampin' Up! have some beautiful colours in their ranges, and here is a perfect way to showcase the purple collection!

It has been made using the Beautiful Wings Embosslit die, which is excellent value for money as it is only £9.95 and gives you 5 different sized butterflies complete with embossed details - fab!!

The embosslit die can be used with the Sizzix Big Shot, and most die-cutting systems.

I can't decide if I like this more that the multi-coloured picture - which do you prefer?

Tuesday Nights Card Club...

Well, I suppose you can't really call it card club as we didn't make any cards.  Let's start again - here are some pictures of Tuesday nights Picture Club!!!  We made the lovely colourful Butterfly picture, using the Beautiful Wings Embosslit die and some of the lovely SU colours.

We also added a bit of 'bling' with some Rhinestone Jewels.

One of the things I like about Card Club (or Picture Club), is that people put their own twist on the designs and come up with different versions of my original (well, when I say mine, I mean my 'CASED' original!).  

If you look closely in the top photo, even Lenny (the dog!) wanted to get in on the action!  My ladies are used to him wanting to join in now!

A Rainbow of Butterflies...

I really love this picture!  The first time I saw this made was over at Fiona Duthie's blog, and I've made a couple of these now.  I donated one to a school raffle last weekend, and so had to make another one quite quickly last night!  One of the things I really like about this picture is that it is so simple to co-ordinate with any colour scheme.  You could do a baby girls bedroom with lots of different shades of pink - beautiful!!!

This picture uses the Beautiful Wings Embosslit, and was cut using the Sizzix Big Shot.  You get 5 different butterfly shapes in one die, so for £9.95, it really is excellent value.
