Kinda Eclectic Birthday...

Last Kinda Eclectic post for a while before I move in to Christmas!!!

The top two photos are of the same card, and the bottom two photos are slightly different.

I think there are 5 differences between them - how many can you spot?

I'm looking forward to decorating some of the SU Kraft notebooks with this stamp set as I think they would make great pressies for people.

Right, now to get my Christmas thinking hat on (surprisingly it's red with a white trim!) as there are only 15 more weeks until Christmas.  In crafting time, that's really not a lot!!

Thanks for popping by - pop back again soon for some Christmas inspiration!

A Little Kindness...

When I first saw this stamp set in the new catalogue, I wasn't quite sure about it.  There are a lot of different elements to it and I just wasn't seeing how they could be put together - well, a bit of online surfing and my mind has changed completely!!  Sometimes you just need to see some ideas to get you started!

This card is very similar to the 'Make and Take' at the SU convention earlier this year.  I've recreated it in a very simple version which is very quick too!

I love the sentiment in this set - it's so true.  A little kindness really does go a long way!

See below for a list of the products used.  For more details or to go to my online shop, click on any of the images below.  More 'Eclectic' cards to follow soon!

#truelove...

Here is the second version of my previous post.  Apologies for the long gap between cards but we took the children away for a few days, and silly old me thought I'd have time to do a few posts once the children had gone to bed - oh no!! We had such busy days, and late nights, that as soon as the children's heads hit the pillow, they were asleep, quickly followed by me!!!

So, later than promised, here is the next card.  This one has been made using Blackberry Bliss card and ink, with the new matching Stitched Satin Ribbon. The stamp sets are the same as before,
@SoSocial plus the heart from the Something to Say stamp set. The hearts were then punched with the coordinating  Itty Bitty Accent Punch set, and 'blinged' with the occasional rhinestone jewel.

More to follow soon!!

#youdidit!!!!

These cards are really quick and easy and are great to make as 'stock' cards, to add sentiments to later.  They are also a great way to showcase the new In Colors 2014-16.

This card has been made using Lost Lagoon card and ink, with the new silky Taffeta Ribbon from the Autumn Winter catalogue.  If you'd like a copy of this catalogue, just let me know.  The stamp sets used are
@SoSocial which includes some great @'s and #'s (awesome stamps according to Madeline!!) plus the Something to Say stamp set which has the lovely star image used above. The stars were punched with the coordinating  Itty Bitty Accent Punch set.

There are lots of versions to see online - take at look at the very talented Julie (my SU mum!) and Michelle Last's blogs for more ideas (sorry - can't find the link direct to Michelles cards).

There are more versions to share with you over the next few days!!

Happy stamping

More Mixed Bunch...

As promised, here is the second version of the Mixed Bunch card.  Using all the same products as yesterday, the only twist is a Tangelo one!! Instead of Lost Lagoon as a background colour, I've used Tangelo Twist!  When the new In-Colors were launched, my first thoughts were that they were a bit too dark for me - fast forward one month and I absolutely love them!!

For a little extra effort, you could easily add some Crystal Effects to the centre circles of each flower.

As usual, click on any of the images below for more details or to order from my online shop.  If you like these cards and would like to have a go at making them for yourself, let me know and you could join in with my card class as these will be our first project for September.
