Happy Mothering Sunday Mum...

...bit late, but here is my mum's Mothering Sunday card, beautifully modelled by my lovely mum!

The background was made using the ever faithful Hardwood stamp, and I cut each 'plank' and inked the edges to give it a more realistic look.

I know everyone thinks their mums are the best, but mine truly is!!  I don't know how she does it but she knows what I need even before I do!

Strawberry Fields Forever….

It was my mum’s birthday earlier this month, so here is the birthday card I made for her.

I really enjoyed making the strawberries, and thought it would be nice to co-ordinate everything.  

There was a new shop opened in town a couple of months ago, and I bought mum a voucher so that she could treat herself, so made a matching belly-band to tie everything together!

Here is everything all together.  I was quite pleased with how it turned out - I think mum liked it too!

I used the retired heart punch to make the strawberries, but the new Sweetheart Punch will work equally as well (I just don’t have it – yet!!).  The leaves have been made using the Petite Petals Punch and the ‘seeds’ could be made using the gold Dazzling Details.  The flowers have been made using the flower from the Itty Bitty Punch set, and the centres can be made using the Brights Candy Dots.

My ever faithful Hardwood stamp came out to play – again! – plus a little twist of Linen Thread and it was done!

Spring Daffodils...

Here is another of my sister Fiona's fab creations!  This is the anniversary card that she made for me and Andy for our wedding anniversary last month.  I love receiving handmade cards from people, and it's great when they are made with Stampin' Up! products because it means that I can share them with you here in blog land!

The fence has been made using the Hardwood stamp (one of Fee's fave's!) and the grass has actually been hand cut, although it would have been easier for her if she had borrowed my Fringe Scissors!

The daffodils are made using the Petite Petals punch and the flower from the Itty Bitty Accent punch set.

Madeline's Creation for Super Nanny...

Here are a few pictures of Madeline and her latest crafty creation!  My husbands Nan, who we all call Super Nanny, has recently moved in to a nursing home (she's 97 years young!) and Madeline decided that she wanted to make her a nice sign for her bedroom door.

She joined me in the craft room and decided to use Painted Petals for her masterpiece!

We were both really pleased with how it turned out, and more importantly, so was Super Nanny!!

Madeline stamped everything herself - the only thing I helped with was lining up the leaves stamp!

Hopefully, every time Super Nanny goes to her room, her sign will make her smile!
