Stepped Up Lotus Blossom...

As promised yesterday, here is the stepped up version of yesterdays card.

 

 

I've just added a layer of Hello Honey cardstock and it really lifts the card.  I also think the colours on this version work better, and they are Daffodil Delight and Crushed Curry. 

 

It's sometimes difficult to know what the colours will come out like when you stamp them on to a dark background, so I did play on a bit of scrap card first!

Lotus Blossom Freebie...

This is one of the fantastic stamp sets that could be yours with a purchase of £45 from the current annual catalogue, or the Spring/Summer mini catalogue that was launched earlier this week.

 

 

This stamp set is called Lotus Blossom and is a photopolymer set.  Each flower is made up of three layers, and being photopolymer, it allows you to line it up to build up the layers of colour.

 

 

I wanted to do something away from the usual colours for flowers, and thought I'd have a go with yellow.  I wasn't sure at first, and the colours on this one came out quite dark - they were Hello Honey and So Saffron.  I have made a stepped up version which I'll share with you tomorrow, and I think the colours on the second one are a bit brighter.

Sale-A-Bration Tour Make and Take...
