Painted Petals... and Finally!!

Here are the remaining cards from the monthly Painted Petals training, including a gorgeous little box to keep them in.  This is quite a picture heavy post but I wanted to share these photos with you before it was too late!!

More Painted Petals...

Here is another of the cards that we made as part of the monthly Jems training using the Painted Petals stamp set.  This stamp set will not be available after June 2nd (sob!!), so contact me as soon as you can if you want to find out how to order a set.  Alternatively, you can go straight to my online shop and order from there!

The Soft Sky thick bakers twine is also finishing on 2nd June, so you could grab that at the same time!

These are a photopolymer stamp set so you can see exactly where you are stamping, which enables you to create some beautiful patterns, and background papers.

I love stamp sets like this as you can really get your moneys worth from them.  There are two more cards to see so keep following!!

Painted Petals Class

Being part of the wonderful team of Jems (ask me for more details if you are interested in joining too!!), we have great team training sessions, and the next few cards that I want to share with you came from our training earlier in the year.

This card is made on a Rose Red card blank, and is stamped in Rose Red, Wild Wasabi and Blackberry Bliss.

The panel on the left is cut from the Painted Petals Designer Paper pack, and it is finished off with some Wild Wasabi thick baker's twine.

I really love this stamp set and was quite surprised to see that it hasn't been carried forward in to the main 2015/16 catalogue so if you want to order it, you need to order it by June 2nd.  Just contact me for more details.

Madeline's Creation for Super Nanny...

Here are a few pictures of Madeline and her latest crafty creation!  My husbands Nan, who we all call Super Nanny, has recently moved in to a nursing home (she's 97 years young!) and Madeline decided that she wanted to make her a nice sign for her bedroom door.

She joined me in the craft room and decided to use Painted Petals for her masterpiece!

We were both really pleased with how it turned out, and more importantly, so was Super Nanny!!

Madeline stamped everything herself - the only thing I helped with was lining up the leaves stamp!

Hopefully, every time Super Nanny goes to her room, her sign will make her smile!

Happy Mother-In-Law's Day...

Here is my Mother-In-Law's card - I'm one of those lucky people that gets on well with their mother-in-law!!!

The colours for this one are Crisp Cantaloupe and Sahara Sand, and I've added the coordinating thick bakers twine.

To get the varying colours of dots, I stamped twice before re-inking,

Don't forget to stamp your envelope too!!!
