Little Robin on a Wreath....

Robins are quite meaningful to our family, especially at Christmas.  When I first bought the Bird Punch, I used it for a class, and since then it's been sat in my cupboard.  I was looking at the wreath cards I'd made, and was trying to come up with some variations when I started to think of my Mother-In-Law.  I usually try to include a robin somewhere for her, either on her card or within her present, so I thought I'd give this a go!

I punched the bird using Whisper White cardstock, and sponged using Early Espresso and Real Red.  I used a Sponge Dauber to do the red as it was easier to control the shape of the red breast!

I also really love this sentiment which is included in the Wondrous Wreath stamp set, and thought it went perfectly with the robin.  I hope she likes it!!

I've got Card Club at school today, so I'm off now to punch some circles - it's Christmas Puddings today!!

Happy Stampin'
