All the stamp sets below are available at 25% discount until the end of November.  These sets co-ordinate with the brand new ‘Stitched from the heart’ set of framelits that are available ahead of their official release in the 2017-18 annual catalogue.  I had thought I’d placed my last order this year, and then this offer comes out!  If you would like to take advantage of the offer, or just want to add anything to an order, please let me know by next weekend (20th) and it will be here in time for Christmas!

There are lots of amazing card ideas on Pinterest using these stamp sets, so go and have a look, and then let me know!!!  One of the favourite amongst my Stampin’ Up! family has been the Baby Bear stamp set that was £23 and is now £17.25 – what a  great price!  I’ve got my eyes on the Tin of Tags set which I may use to decorate my Christmas pressies this year.
Have a browse through the products on offer, and let me know if there’s anything you would like!

A Very Happy 40th Birthday...

This card was made for a special friend of mine that celebrated her 40th birthday earlier this summer.

I created the background paper using the flower stamps form the Number of Years stamp set, but you could always use your favourite DSP instead.

My inspiration for this card came from a German demonstrator Nadine Weiner.  I think, if you read her blog entry, she got her inspiration from someone else, but as I haven't studied German since I left school, I cant be too sure exactly what she wrote!

The addition of the corner rounder just gives the card a softer look.

The last picture is just a reminder not to forget to co-ordinate your envelope - it really does give it a professional finish!

More soon!

Just Peachy...

Today's fruit bowl offering is the lovely Peekaboo Peach, teamed with Pear Pizazz.

The products used were the Fresh Fruit stamp set and the Fruit Stand DSP, teamed with the Peekaboo Peach ruched ribbon - plus the left over doily from yesterday's card!!

I like how versatile these cards are - you could add any sentiment to suit any occasion - great for what I call 'stock cards' - make up a few and add the sentiment when you need it!!

Well, thanks for dropping by.  I'll be back soon to share some more of my SU makes!

The Perfect Pear...

As promised, here is the second helping from my fruit bowl - again using the Fresh Fruit stamp set and the Fruit Stand DSP.

The inks used are Pear Pizazz, Flirty Flamingo and the leaves are Emerald Envy.  I've also added half a doily and some of the new ruched ribbon in Flirty Flamingo.

I'm loving using this set - I did say in my last post how they felt really summery - I think I spoke to soon!  I cant believe how much rain we have had in the last 2 days!  It's Ollie's birthday tomorrow so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that there may be a bit of sunshine for him!

If you'd like to know more about any of the products you've seen in any of my posts, please feel free to contact me at ali.cornish303@hotmail.co.uk.

Back soon!

Hi there - remember me?!! It's been a while!
Well, today's post is show casing something other than numbers!  I fancied a change and so here I am with the fabulous fruity offering that is the new Fresh Fruit stamp set peared (!) with the Fruit Stand DSP.

I've used the lovely Emerald Envy ruched ribbon and a little bit of doily to add the finishing touches.

I love how fresh these look, and they are perfect for the summer months - let's just hope we get some!

Colours are Real Red and Emerald Envy.

More fruity offerings soon!

This version of yesterday's card was made for my nephew whose birthday it was back in May.

The colour scheme for this one is Smokey Slate and Delightful Dijon.

I think he liked the card, but I think he liked the money inside it more!

I'm looking forward to some me time tonight as my delivery of brand new products is arriving later - early bed time for the children I think!

Will be back soon!

This card uses the Number of Years stamp set and the coordinating Large Number dies.

Again, this card can be made to suit anyone, just by changing the colour scheme.

Check back again soon for a different colour way!

Bunch of Balloons...

Whilst I'm looking at the versatility of card designs, I thought this would be the next great offering to share with you!  This design was created by my wonderful upline Julie, and again could suit any age and any person, just by changing the papers and colour schemes.

The papers are from the Cherry on Top DSP, with the In Colors from 2015-2017 (Watermelon Wonder, Cucumber Crush and Delightful Dijon).

Another great thing about this design is that it uses up scraps of paper!!  As crafters, we always find it hard to throw away those little off-cuts, so here is a great way for using them up!!

This is one of the quickest and easiest cards to make - no stamping, just cutting and sticking!!  You could make a pile of them, and just add the numbers as required!!  Nothing like being organised!

Happy Cuttin' and Stickin'

Unlucky for Some....

I really like how versatile this card is - here it is made for a teenager, and we all know how tricky they can be to keep happy (having almost got one myself!!).  Again, we are using the Number of Years bundle, plus the Balloon Celebration Bundle (balloon stamps and punch).

The colours are Blushing Bride and Mint Macaron, with the background of the ever faithful Crumb Cake!

This card would work just as well as a 1st birthday card - like I said, so versatile!!

It would be great for a special birthday (18th, 21st etc), but just as good for any age.  Just by changing the colour scheme, you can adapt it to suit anyone!

More posts soon - I promise!

Up Up And Away...

Here is another make using the Number of Years bundle, plus the Balloon Celebration Bundle (balloon stamps and punch).

All of these products will be available in the next catalogue (whoop, whoop!!), but will be as single purchases not bundles, so if you want to take advantage of the reduced bundle price, I'm placing an order tomorrow so let me know!!

I know I keep saying this, but this set is just so versatile (must get a new word for versatile soon - any suggestions?), you can suit it to all ages and all personalities. I love it!!!

Not sure why I chose the number 9 for this one, as all of Ollie's friends have had their 9th birthdays - oh well, never mind!!

Happy Bank Holiday everyone - have a nice day!

Happy Lilac Birthday...

Here is another version of yesterdays card, using the Number of Years stamp and framelit set.

The colours used are Wisteria Wonder, Old Olive, Rose Red, Blushing Bride and Elegant Eggplant.

I can't decide if I prefer the card landscape like this one or portrait like yesterday's.  Which do you prefer?

Again, as yesterday, I added a little bit of sparkle with the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.

See you soon

Happy Blue Birthday...

Today's card uses the fabulous Number of Years photopolymer die set and the matching framelits.

The colours I've used are Marina Mist, Soft Sky, Night of Navy, Old Olive and a little bit of Hello Honey!  This set is so versatile, and would work in any colour combination.

As part of the stamp set, you also get an 'ANNIVERSARY' stamp so you could tailor your colour scheme to suit any of those special anniversary cards that you may need.

I've also added a bit of shimmer to the numbers with the clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.  I'd not seen these brushes until they came out in the Stampin' Up! catalogue, and now they have become one of my favourite products! You can't see it in the picture, but it really does make it look pretty.

Thanks for dropping by.

It's A Wrap...

Just a quickie today - here is the gift wrap that I wrapped Tracey's birthday present in (hence the 't'!).

The stamp set was Summer Silhouette, and the colours were Crumb Cake, Marina Mist, Night of Navy and Soft Sky.  The 't' came from the Larger Than Life alphabet set.

If you look closely, you can see the 't' has been coloured with the clear Wink of Stella pen.  I'd not used one of these before, but it is now my favourite item in my craft bag!!

Pop back again soon!!

Happy Mother-In-Law Day...

Today's card is the card I made for my mother-in-law for Mothers Day.

The papers are from the English Garden DSP, and the letters are from my favourite Epic alphabet.

I've used Rose Red as my accent colour, but you could have chosen almost any colour with this beautiful paper!

I added the little bumble bee as a last minute touch - he's quite cute!!

Thanks for dropping by.

Happy Mothering Sunday Mum...

...bit late, but here is my mum's Mothering Sunday card, beautifully modelled by my lovely mum!

The background was made using the ever faithful Hardwood stamp, and I cut each 'plank' and inked the edges to give it a more realistic look.

I know everyone thinks their mums are the best, but mine truly is!!  I don't know how she does it but she knows what I need even before I do!

So, Happy Mothering Sunday mum - love you lots

Happy Birthday Little Sis...

Well, she's not really my little sis, because I am the youngest, but I've always referred to her as my little sis as she is the youngest of the sisters I've got - now that makes sense in my head, but not sure that it makes sense when I write it down!!  It was a bit of a strange birthday for Tracey this year, as most of the attention went towards Fee, but she will get her own back in 2 years time when she will take centre stage for her 50th - I bet she can't wait!!!

Tracey's card was one that I made at a card club last year - I chose it for her because I knew she would like the colour scheme.  It's quite difficult to chose cards for family now because Fee comes to most of my classes so we often end up sending similar cards to family.  Last year we sent dad the exact same card, and this year we both sent Tracey the same style card, but one was landscape and one was portrait!!!  I guess we should talk to each other more!

These cards have been made using the Crazy About You photopolymer bundle which includes the 'Crazy About You' stamp set and the 'Hello You' thinlits, and the colours are Rose Red, Blackberry Bliss, Blushing Bride and Old Olive.

Thanks for popping by. Will be back soon!
