More Regal Dragonflies...

As promised, here are some more 'Regal' colourways of yesterdays card.

This is Cajun Craze - it's a colour that I've not really used very much but I think it's one that might be appearing more in the near future!

This next colour is Elegant Eggplant, and I like the way this one works too.

It's surprising how the look of a card can change just by changing the background colour.

Which is your favourite?

Delightful Dragonflies...

This card uses the Awesomely Artistic stamp set, which is available in either wooden or clear.  Each stamped element that you see is included in the set - it really is great value for money at £18 (clear) or £25 (wood).
Can you tell what we have been learning at school this week by the title of this post?  Also, the stamp set is a great example too.  In fact, Stampin' Up! are very good at it when you look at all their colour names.  We have been learning all about alliteration - Delightful Dragonflies, Awesomely Artistic, Island Indigo etc....

I've used colours from the Regal collection - this one is Island Indigo.  There are a lot of examples on Pinterest that use the paler colours but I love how it looks in the dark rich Regal colours.

I've also used the Sahara Sand lace Trim which just finishes it off nicely!

I've added a dusting of Dazzling Diamonds to the dragonfly's wings to add a bit of sparkle.  Just by changing the sentiment, this card could be use for a number of different occasions.

Different colour ways to share with you tomorrow!

Happy Stampin'

Thinking Of You...

Here is the last Garden in Bloom project for a while!

The card base and flower are Watermelon Wonder.

The sentiment comes from the great Sheltering Tree photopolymer stamp set.

I really do love the little bee - I'm sure I'll find another use for him soon!!

Thanks for dropping by!

Tangelo Twist Birthday...

Here is the next offering in the Garden in Bloom series!

I have used Tangelo Twist as the main colour this time, with the sentiment being borrowed from the Butterfly Basics stamp set.

The subtle difference between this one and yesterday's post is the black outline - I chose not to use it on this card.

What's your preference - black line or no black line?

Will be back soon!

Melon Mambo Feelings...

Here is the second of the Garden in Bloom cards, this time using Melon Mambo as the main colour.

The sentiments in this stamp set are great, and I love the look you get with the black outline to the flowers.

More cards to follow soon!
