More Basic Butterflies...

Here is a slight variation on the previous Butterfly Basics card.  I have used the larger butterfly thinlet, and have teamed Crumb Cake with Mint Macaron.

Bold Butterfly Basics...

Moving on from ice-creams for a while, I saw this lovely layout on a fellow Jems blog - Katy Harrison over at The Stamping Shed.

I love how clean and fresh this looks, and using the 'Sending Wishes Your Way' sentiment makes it suitable for a number of different occasions.

I've used Sahara Sand and Soft Sky and the stamp set is the Buterfly Basics which I'm so pleased to see carry over in to the main catalogue.  The coordinating framelits are the Bold Butterfly framelits, which can be bought with the stamps as a bundle, saving 15%!

Even Crazier About You...

This is the last card from last weekend's Stamp-A-Stack.

I originally made this one using Crumb Cake and Tangelo Twist, but here is the updated version with Sahara Sand, Watermelon Wonder and Cucumber Crush

It also showcases the beautiful Dotted Lace Trim that can be found in all the new In Colours.

More Crazy About You...

This was another of the cards we made as part of Saturday's Stamp-A-Stack.   The original inspiration was from a fellow Devonian Jem Maria Moore, and then recreated by my upline Julie.  Their colour combo was Melon Mambo and Old Olive but I brought it a bit more up to date by using Watermelon Wonder and Mint Macaron.

The paper is from the Typeset Specialty DSP which I'm very pleased to say has been carried over in to the new catalogue.

More ideas to follow soon!

Yesterday's Stamp-A-Stack...

Here are some pictures from yesterday's Stamp-A-Stack, using the really useful 'Crazy About You' stamp set and the 'Hello You' framelits.

My sister had obviously planned this one well, as she turned up in a Watermelon Wonder sweatshirt, which was one of the main colours of the class!!

We used the really useful 'Crazy About You' stamp set and teamed it with the 'Hello You' framelits to create some great cards with a real mixture of sentiments to suit so many different occasions.  You can purchase any of the products that we used from my online shop.

Here are some of the cards that were made.  If you live in the North Devon area and would like to come along to one of my classes, drop me a line - I'd love to hear from you!  ali.cornish303@hotmail.co.uk.

Sprinkles of Life...

As promised, here is my first card using one of the brand new stamp sets from the new catalogue.  This uses the 'Sprinkles of Life' set which is this years fund raiser for the Ronald McDonald House Charities.  For every purchase of this set of stamps, Stampin' Up! will donate £2 to RMHC.

I've used the funky new washi tape from the Cherry on Top collection - I love the bright colours of this set.  The patterned paper pack is great too.

The ice-creams have been made with the new colours - Watermelon Wonder, Mint Macaron and Delightful Dijon. I used an Aquapainter brush to watercolour them.

If you live in the North Devon area, and would like to come and make this card at my next class, please get in contact with me - ali.cornish303@hotmail.co.uk.

And Finally...

This is the last of the May card class projects using The Open Sea stamp set.

I love the porthole on this one, which was so simple to do, and would you believe, it started life as a piece of white card!!!

My original inspiration for this card came from here, which you may have seen before if you are a regular visitor to my blog.

I stamped the image and then used an Aqua painter brush to colour it in.

The next post will be using some brand new products from the brand new catalogue!!
