My Little Helper...

Not a crafty post today, but just a fun shot of my new assistant!!

This Months Card Club....

Here is a picture from this months card club which was on Monday night.  It was quite a challenge as everyone made 4 cards and a box - quite a lot to do in one evening.  I pre-cut and scored all the cardstock so that we didn't waste time and we were finished in record time!  Everyone's cards looked great and we all had a really nice evening.

Happy Birthday Little Sis...

As promised, here is my 'little' sister Tracey's birthday card! 

 

 

The colours for this one are Perfect Plum and Elegant Eggplant.  It looks bit dark in the photo - it is brighter than this in the flesh!

 

I've sponged around the oval sentiment, just to give it a bit of extra depth.

 

 

I would love to hear your suggestions of colour combinations for this design.  Just leave me a comment and I'll have a go!

Happy Birthday Big Sis...

It was my sisters birthdays back at the end of February and I decided to combine two of my favourite stamp sets to make their cards - Gorgeous Grunge and Papillon Potpourri.  I have two sisters, born on the same day but two years apart!

 

 

This is my big sis Fiona's card - when Madeline and Ollie were little, they used to watch Fi-Fi and the Flowertots a lot, so Fiona became Auntie Fi-Fi and still is today!  I don't think she minds - it's quite cute really!!!

 

This card uses the Elegant Butterfly and the Bitty Butterfly punches, that co-ordinate with the Papillon Potpourri stamp set.

 

The sentiment is from the Something to Say stamp set and is punched out using the Decorative Label punch and the Extra Large Oval punch.

 

Come back tomorrow to see the colour way for my 'little ' sisters  birthday card.

Four Feathers Stepped Up...

Here is an alternative version of yesterday's Four Feathers card, with the addition of a button, some ribbon and a bit of linen thread.

 

 

This would work in lots of different colour ways - will show you when I've tried some more!

 

If you have any suggestions for a colour combo, let me know and I'll give it a try.
