More Flower Patch...

Here is another Flower Patch card, made using Melon Mambo as the accent colour.  I also decorated the bag to match.

 

 

I had to do a little cheat on this one as I didn't have any Melon Mambo ribbon, so I just cut a thin strip of card instead!

 

The sentiment was from Label Love stamp set, punched using the Artisan Label punch.

Lovely Card For A Lovely Lady...

Here is a card that I made for one of my lovely card club ladies who mentioned that she had a special birthday coming up!

 

 

The colours are Crumb Cake and Tangelo Twist.  I love how big and bold this looks.

Last Week's Card Club...

Everyone put their own twist on their cards, and this is one of Nicky's, using Strawberry Slush cardstock.

...And Even More Balloons...

This is my favourite of the three Celebrate Today cards - I think the addition of the Linen Thread to tie to the balloons just gives it a bit of a lift!!!

It was a bit fidley (not sure if that's spelt right!) to tie the three threads together, and then add a bow, but I think I've managed OK.  I did end up cheating a little bit with the help of some double sided tape which I think I've hidden quite well!

I really like how simple these cards are to make, but they look really detailed.  My next challenge is to spice up the colour scheme and see what happens!  If you'd like to make a colour suggestion for me, just leave a comment - alternatively, let me know what colour combinations you've tried.

More Birthday Balloons...

Here is the second of February's Card Club cards, made using the Celebrate Today photopolymer stamp set.

The dots on the Chocolate Chip balloon have been stamped with Versamark and embossed with Soft Sky embossing powder.

The words are also part of the Celebrate Today stamp set, and have been layered using the Extra Large Oval Punch and the Decorative Label Punch.  The ribbon is the 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon in Soft Sky.

One more card to follow to complete the set!!
